Congratulations to all who competed. In particular to Bourne and Market Deeping who will go on to represent us in the John Freeman Cup to be held this year at Crowland, and Grantham and Rippingale A who will ring for the Branch at Deeping St Nicholas in the Ted Colley Plate Competition. Bourne with its band of longstanding and experienced ringers produced an excellent test piece that the judge described as a pleasure to hear. Also, worthy of note was the number of junior members who came high up in the placings this year, five in the Market Deeping band and two for Grantham. Further, it was encouraging to see so many competing for the first time, so well done everyone.
